In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To conduct product carbon footprint assessments following Emerson’s internal standard methodology, as requested by business unit teams.
  • To provide technical expertise to business-unit teams and collaborate with them during a project’s execution.
  • To help streamline the process of conducting carbon footprint assessments to minimize the duration of projects while ensuring a high-quality deliverable.
  • To support the improvement of internal methodologies and external communication collateral in alignment with external best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • To work with the IT team to develop a longer-term data architecture plan to scale the product carbon footprint program globally.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any STEM field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics or related functions.
  • More than 5 years of working experience in corporate sustainability, environmental compliance, ESG/Sustainability disclosure and reporting, or a related technical discipline with knowledge of the theory and practice of sustainability broadly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in English communication skills.
  • Availability to work on a mid-shift schedule to accommodate US working hours.
