Job Summary:The Sales Manager will lead a team of Key Account Specialists and Sales Officers to achieve business growth targets, enhance collection performance, and build lasting relationships with buyers. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and fostering a results-oriented culture while driving strong customer engagement and financial health.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Growth and Business DevelopmentDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed growth targets.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities.Collaborate with marketing and operations to align initiatives with sales objectives.2. Team Leadership and Performance ManagementSupervise, mentor, and motivate a team of Key Account Specialists and Sales Officers to deliver exceptional results.Set individual and team goals, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.Organize training sessions to upskill the team and improve productivity.3. Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key buyers and stakeholders.Serve as the primary escalation point for client concerns and ensure timely resolution.Organize regular business reviews with buyers to understand needs, address gaps, and strengthen partnerships.4. Collections and Financial OversightDevelop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce receivables.Monitor credit limits, payment terms, and collection performance to ensure alignment with company policies.Collaborate with finance to manage outstanding payments and mitigate credit risks.5. Reporting and AnalysisPrepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and collection updates to senior management.Analyze sales data to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies.Use CRM and other tools to ensure accurate tracking of sales and collection metrics.6.
