HR Recruitment Specialist

📍 Location: NEXT Bus – Naga City, Camarines Sur
🕒 Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

NEXT Bus is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team! Your primary role will be to source, screen, and onboard drivers and office staff to support our expanding operations. You will also assist in various HR and administrative functions to ensure smooth workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties – Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified drivers and office personnel.
  • Utilize online job portals, social media, referrals, and other sourcing channels to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, skills assessments, and background checks to ensure candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process, including orientation, training schedules, and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all employment requirements and documentation (licenses, permits, clearances) are complete before hiring.

Secondary Duties – HR & Admin Support:

  • Assist in employee engagement activities, including training and development initiatives.
  • Support in managing HR records, payroll processing, and attendance tracking.
  • Help implement HR policies and workplace regulations in compliance with labor laws.
  • Address employee concerns and coordinate performance evaluations.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
✅ At least 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
✅ Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.
✅ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with applicants and employees.
✅ Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software/tools.
